A martingale is a type of dog collar provides more control, without the choking effect of a slip collar.

The martingale dog collar was designed for

Sight-hounds because their necks are larger than their heads and they can slip out of buckle collars.

Martingale dog collars are fitted to the exact size of the dog’s neck when the collar is pulled closed the two rings should never meet.

There is a slider on the tail of the martingale that allows you to adjust the size of the opening to get it over your dogs head then adjust back so they  Don't slip out of it.

There is 2 sizes of lead length availble 

21"long  and 30" long

and 1/2" 5/8" and 3/4" width

We use 2 rings interlocked for the stoppers to lock off once the collars are on to stop your dogs pulling out of them

Very hard wearing and quite thick average about 3.5mm - 4 mm

ideal for a working dogs

This will not go hard or stiff if they get wet and does not require oiling

It feels very Soft and supple to touch, there is a natural oil in the leather

which has been preserved through the tanning procedure, 

so it is protected from the inside out

Hence why you don't have to oil it, (saddle soap to clean is always good though).

Whippet collars :1 3/4" at the widest point of collar available with 1/2 lead and  5/8" lead

Greyhound collar : 2 1/4" wide at the widest point with a 5/8 " lead or 3/4 " lead
